Abhinav Sood:This 18-years young, computer science engineering student came to The City Beautiful, Chandigarh from the City of Saints, Hoshiarpur after matriculating hoping to make a brighter career. He’s a passionate learner currently into blogging about blogging. He loves to go biking, own the latest gizmos and gadgets and keeps himself up to date with the latest in technology. In fact, his first successful blog where he published for over a year was about technology and anything relevant. He believes in practical education based on application as against the current Indian Education system and is a firm believer that CBA will change the face of North India for the better! Gaurav Sharma:Initially, it was Gaurav who came up with the idea to bring together the bloggers in and around Chandigarh and today CBA is a realization of that initiative with the support of some amazing people on the management board. He has authored over 18 blogs on various topics. He holds seminars and workshop on blogging for college students and corporates in Hyderabad. Jasdeep Singh:Jasdeep is a Web Developer by profession and works on open source technologies and platforms (Java/J2EE/Python/Linux, basically). In his spare time he dreams, thinks, reads books and puts them to good use when socializing and interacting. He’s attended the most tech conferences and literary meetings than anyone else in CBA. He maintains a blog on Punjabi Poetry and another on his professional pursuits. If you believe what he says – “I may look like a city dweller but I am a villager to the core.” Mohit Aneja:Born in a small town of Punjab, Mohit had been an extremist since childhood. He had his ways of standing out of the crowd. Be it his style, knowledge, art, or love life, Mohit has been the king of know-how’s. Designing is in his blood. Before he started with his very own blog, he had created about 30 designs and launched 2 websites. A complete family man, he loves to spend good time with his family and friends. When he’s not blogging, he’s most likely to be seen sleeping or shaking a leg to hip-hop. He’s a foodie, a hard-core non-vegetarian. His favorite junk is Deep-dish Meatzaa of Domino’s. He also loves to drive. He hates spending time on anything that’s not productive. His dream is to go on a world tour with his Dad. Rajesh Kumar:He still remembers those days when he was struggling to earn name and fame in New Delhi Theater repertories and television fraternity. After acting in few television documentaries and doing a couple of popular plays, he soon realized that Television or Theater were not his bread and butter. Love and affection of his family and passion to do something for the good of society brought him back to his home town. He saw a lot of potential in blogging to help him better up the society because he didn’t see anything else where one could express one’s views so freely and raise one’s voice against the prevalent social evils as loud as on a blog. Married to Anita and blessed with two sweet little daughters Sanskriti and Sukriti, Rajesh is a dedicated supporter of CBA who hopes to achieve a revolutionary change by utilizing blogs and Chandigarh Bloggers Alliance as a platform. Ravi P. Tiwari:Ravi has been quite a force in keeping us focussed towards our motto. "Passion. Expression. Blogging" to change "The face of India". Being associated with the press, he's given the recognition that CBA has today. His Hindi daily "Sohni City | Hindustaan" is about the City Beautiful and covers education and (un)employment. Besides a clever manipulator and manager, he's also a poet and writes in Hindi. He made his first blog after covering the first ever CBA Meet Up and now rides the blogging wave well. The best thing is that his is an all-Hindi blog. Reet Aneja:Born in Ludhiana, brought up in city beautiful, she works for dell as Sr. Technical Support Expert. She has been working in this industry for almost 3 years and her work is recognized for its quality. In fact, Reet is obsessed with quality. Be it the quality of life, friends, thoughts or appearance. Being a Virgo, She has a bad carving for perfection. She would always say that she don’t believe in the word Perfect, because like learning, improvement never stops. Sameer RelanWith loads of dreams in his eyes, Sameer Relan, 24, is running a Web Development and Internet Marketing Company in Chandigarh. He started working on his own since he needed liberty to express his thoughts and his creativity in his own way. A webdesigner and a social worker, he says - "I am not what my experiences are, I am what I made out of them." Shanker Bakshi:A cartoonist first, then a radio jockey, television anchor, caricaturist & illustrator, voiceover artist, novelist, a kind hearted person settled as a blogger after getting inspired from some posts of John Chow –He’s finally a finance guy who had nothing to do with web and all, but don't remember when he got struck and got addicted to the web mania that blogging is. Married to Shivani and blessed with a boy named Aditya, his small world revolves around them.
